Denise Isaac is a bilingual meteorologist fluent in both Spanish and English who graduated cum laude from Florida State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Meteorology and a minor in mathematics and communications. She was also part of the weather show at FSU for almost 2 years. She was born and raised in the northern province of Colon in the Republic of Panama until the age of 17. She then moved to the United States to pursue her dreams and go to college. Her interest in TV grew as she watched the Weather Channel everyday and she experienced Hurricane Charley on August 13, 2004. That was definitely the final event that made her choose broadcasting. After graduation, she landed her first job at Telemundo WZDC in Washington, DC, where she was dedicated to teach and inform her viewers on the importance of weather for nearly two years.
Denise enjoys anything related to weather and she is also a fan of all types of sports. She enjoys playing volleyball, softball, and soccer and you will definitely catch her watching Seminole football on Saturdays when the season starts.
